About Brolly Books... Brolly Books is an independent Australian publishing house specializing in children’s books written and/or illustrated by Australian authors and artists. It also has a growing list of family and general titles. Brolly Books is currently publishing 15-20 new books each year. It also provides a wide range of publishing services. Brolly Books was founded in the late 1990s by Emma Borghesi and Andrew Adam. Emma came from a publishing background, while Andrew’s background was in sales and marketing. They work closely with the authors and artists whom they publish, and take pride in publishing high-quality, beautifully produced books (including many children’s picture book hardbacks). Over the past seven years, Brolly Books has evolved steadily and now has its own particular niche in the world of publishing. In addition to its own local publishing activities, it currently exports to Canada, the United States, South Africa, Korea and New Zealand.
